On the outskirts of Metropolis, a meteor falls. Scientists come to observe the meteor and find it split in half and inside a Caveman from outer space. They realize that his vital signs are active.

At that moment, Batman and Robin, who were on a routine air patrol, appear.

Scientists take Caveman to a cage in a zoo as a precaution.

Caveman bends and rips the bars off the cage. Batman and Robin try to confront him but are thrown far away with a punch.

Superman learns about the individual in the Daily Planet and goes to the location, arriving just as Caveman escapes. He tries to overpower him but is unsuccessful. Caveman throws a tractor at Kal-El. They notice that Caveman can fly and has x-ray vision.

Kal-El examines the remains of the meteor with his super vision and discovers that there are elements of his home planet.

Superman conjectures that the caveman came from Krypton, that back in his world the man must have been trapped in a pit of lava, where the chemical reaction of these combined elements created a strange gas, which kept him in suspended animation.

A million years passed while the man on Krypton evolved - until Krypton exploded - and the hard core of lava that surrounded him was thrown into space towards Earth.

Batman and Robin encounter a bandit posing as the Caveman. The bandit uses a gun.

When trying to arrest the fake (the bandit), the real Caveman from Krypton rescues him, thinking he is one of his people.

The fake Caveman takes the real one to his boss's hideout.

Meanwhile, Batman checks the fake's gun for fingerprints and discovers that he is a member of Jo Jo Graf's Gang.

After Batman and Robin discover the hideout and the Caveman from Krypton arrests them, the group of thiefs robs a bank in Metropolis.

Caveman flies away, but when he passes by a place he sees something familiar.

Superman went to a place to modify rocks and distort the shape of trees to look like Ancient Krypton.

When the fight begins, Jo Jo uses the kryptonite that he saved for this moment, Batman and Robin appear and manage to get rid of the stone.

Caveman realizes that he has been betrayed and tries to throw the bandits and cars into an abyss, an act that Superman stops.

Because of the kryptonite and cosmic rays from years in space, Caveman dies.
