Origin

Ceril is the leader of a tribe of Eternia bush people. He was in charge of protecting one of their towns, when the demon wizard Damon attacked. Luckily Prince Adam was nearby, and The Sorceress used this moment to give Adam the power of Grayskull. With the newly empowered He-Man, Cecil and he were able to defeat Damon.

Ceril was created by Paul Kupperberg for his series Masters of the Universe.

Ceril and his scouting party find He-Man and Battle Cat while they are searching the Dark Forest of Eternia for the Cosmos Talisman. Ceril informs that he has seen the Talisman that He-Man seeks, but it guarded by demons and a magical barrier. This does not deter the Master of the Universe and with Ceril's and his tribes help, He-Man and Battle Cat are able to get pass the demons and break the barrier.
