Colonel Weston was Irons' mentor at ArmerTek when he was designing the deadly BG-60 Assault Rifle, but sold the design behind Irons' back. Steel later learned AmerTek had been selling weapons to gangs under Weston's orders, who was revealed to have deep underworld connections. He became a recurring enemy for Steel.
