Little is known about Constance Arkham. She was the beloved wife of Amadeus Arkham and had a daughter named Harriet. The family lived in Metropolis for some time, while Amadeus worked at State Psychiatric Hospital. Later they moved to Arkham Mansion in Gotham City, where they established. In 1921 Mad Dog, former patient of her husband, got into the mansion and killed her and Harriet.

Its shown a decapitated memorial statue in her honor. With an inscribed plaque that reads: Constance Arkham. My dear wife. The first lady of Arkham. The plaque is vandalized with the name Mad Dog on it.
