Appearing alongside Teryx and Steg in Chinatown, she appears to be the most human of her comrades as her wings and beak are artificial. She warned them not to get lost in the crowd and commented upon the stench of the new world they found themselves in.

After Kid Flash catches up to her, she claims that she and her friends came to New York to find adventure and identifies herself as Second Shell of the Rushing Greens. She admonishes him for pummeling Teryx before they go off to find Steg, who Dac has feelings for. She reveals that they had lied to Teryx when they came to the mammal world though she promises to make sure that he does not do anything 'too extreme.' They manage to escape from Kid Flash and Teryx into the sewers.

Aside from English and the language her people speaks, she is able to speak French, Italian, German, Mandarin, and Japanese.
