Deadfall was created by John Rozum and Vince Giarrano.

Comeback

Deadfall was a member of the team of villains known as the Doomslayers, and so took part in their murderous rampage across the Midwest. He took part in killing Bloomfield's hero, the Emerald Don, and briefly fought Superman before being defeated along with the rest of the Doomslayers.

Powers and Abilities

Deadfall was described as, "murder in the animated form of a ten-foot-tall man-shaped tangle of thorny vines and wood." It was unrevealed whether his plant-like composition granted him any specific abilities, but he did show proficiency with the two swords he wielded.
