Raised on an alternate Erath with a magic-centered technology, Capri took part in the violent overthrow of the magical regime of Lord Necros. After a visit by Savant and coaxing by his stepmother, Katrina, who desired a safer world for him to live, he come to this Earth. Code named DISPERSE, his powers enable him to change shape by dispersing his own form and coalescing into any new shape. Since his shape shifting is magical, Capri can even take on the thoughts and personality of the person he's mimicking. His shape shifting isn't limited to humans either. He can become objects and animals (even those well beyond his normal mass).

Disperse died heroically fighting against the Kheran Lord Sebastian. He and a team of heroes went on a suicide mission aboard the Red Blade. They successfully took control of the shiftship and managed to send it back to the bleed in pieces.
