After a prophecy revealed that the Justice League would lose their lives in battle against Karfang, Wonder Woman incapacitated her friends one by one so that she could face Karfang alone, with no one else's life at stake. After a tough battle, Diana was able to slay the dragon.
She kept the dragon's massive skeleton in her possession, stored in the atrium of the headquarters she set up for the Justice League Dark beneath the Hall of Justice.
