Ezil ran away from his father Azmil because he no longer wants to be associated with his illegal activities. He scribbled the name Fallen Angel on a piece of paper while hiding in a hotel room and his father believes he is looking for her in Bete Noire.

His father uses his fiancee, Lani, to try to convince him to come home. She enters the Furors with a wire and finds Ezil sitting at a table, waiting for Lee. He and Lani are to eventually get married, but it is an arranged marriage.

Dolf knows that Ezil's father is about to burst into the bar and sends him and Lani to hide in a bunker inside the bar. As Lee takes control of the situation in the bar, a scream is heard coming from the bunker. After tearing off the bunker armored door with her hands, Lee discovers Lani's decapitated body. The evil entity that has already killed a young woman seems to be interested in Lee, taunting her. Ezil is scared, curled up in a corner.

Dolf will take care of the boy for a few days. Ezil, who seems to be in post-traumatic shock, does not realize that Lani is dead and believes that she will come back.

A few days later, Ezil's father will return to Bete Noire with dozens of men to take revenge and to try to bring him back again, but he will in turn fall victim to the entity that will make him implode.

Now an orphan, Ezil chose to stay in Bete Noire. Dolf hired him at the Furors.

When Gilles de Rais tries to regain control of Bete Noire and succeeds with the demon Moloch taking Jubal's body, the latter recruits Ezil as a detective.

After Moloch's death, Lee will become the new magistrate of Bete Noire and Ezil will work for her.
