Creation

Fatalist was created by Peter David for his series Supergirl and appeared in the last story arc of the series.

Although never seen actually doing it, Fatalist takes credit for redirecting Kara's rocket ship off course so it would land in Leesburg in Linda Danver's reality instead of on Earth 1. He later transforms Johnny Reb from small time human crook to a part machine part man super villain. He tells his boss Xenon that he is doing this to help Xenon kill all the Supergirls, but in fact he has his own plans, which are never truly revealed.

When the Spectre comes into the mix, Fatalist tries to convince him everything Fatalist does is just seeing God's plan to its end. A statement Fatalist tries to give to Linda after she sends Kara away in a rocket destined for her own doom. Linda doesn't care what Fatalist says and uppercuts him with such force he flies though the air.

This is the last seen of Fatalist.
