Origin

Very little is known about Fergus. A member of the sidhe, the Irish fairy people, he at some point befriended Daniel Cormac, which lead to Cormac becoming the hero Jack O'Lantern.

Creation

Fergus was created by E. Nelson Bridwell and Alex Saviuk. He made his first appearance in DC Comics Presents #46. He is based on legends of the aos sí, particularly the fear dearg.

Major Story Arcs

The Wizard Who Wouldn't Stay Dead

Fergus accompanies Jack O'Lantern and Superman in attempting to prevent Dubh Magus from stealing one of the relics of Thaumar Dhai. He is present during the final battle with the assembled sorcerers.

Powers and Abilities

As a sidhe, Fergus possesses inherent magical abilities that are unknown. He is very small, standing perhaps five inches tall.
