Creation
Gerrold Sinclair was created by Dick Giordano, Mike W. Barr and Trevor Von Eeden for their mini-series Green Arrow.
Major Story Arcs
Green Arrow
When Gerrold Sinclair married Cythia Horton, he believed he would become an heir to the Horton Chemical family fortune. Then when Abigail Horton died, Gerrold was expecting a monetary windfall, but Abigial only gave him and his wife $2 million to split. She gave majority of the family fortune and control of Horton Chemical to outsider, Oliver Queen.
This enraged Abigail's children and Gerrold, but they seemed to except the ruling. It wasn't until later, that it was revealed that Gerrold had been the one to suffocate Abigail and it looked like he would get away with it, until Green Arrow showed up and ruined his plans.
When Green Arrow finally had the evidence to arrest Gerrold the emerald archer found him dead with a gunshot to the temple. It was then revealed that Cythia and Gerrold were in cohorts, and Cythia killed her husband. She then planned on killing Green Arrow, but with Gerrold's last breath he shot his wife in the head killing her instantly.
