Origin

Very little is known about Goldenboy. Probably a runaway, he at some point came into contact with Melmoth, who invited him to join his child gang, the Deviants. Goldenboy was made the leader of the gang following the departure of the previous leader, and upon his 16th birthday sent to join Team Red, which is the secret name of Melmoth's slaving operations on Mars.

Creation

Goldenboy was created by Grant Morrison and Frazer Irving. He made his first appearance in Seven Soldiers: Klarion #3.

Major Story Arcs

Seven Soldiers of Victory

Goldenboy is summoned by Melmoth to drag his replacement Billy Beezer through the Erdal Gate to Mars. He returns to the slaving operations there. It is presumed that he is rescued from his slavery by Frankenstein. His ultimate fate is unknown.
