The young man known only as Hawk, the half-breed son of legendary Revolutionary War hero Tom Hawk and the Indian princess Moon Fawn, lived with his parents and younger brother in an isolated cabin in Echo Valley, somewhere in the American Midwest.
Trained by his father as an expert hunter, tracker and marksman and raised to believe all men were brothers, Hawk frequently found himself in conflict with hostile white men and red men alike - anyone who would seek to torment or dominate their fellow men. Though his famous, cantankerous father was always prepared to lend his sons a helping hand, Hawk was more than capable of fighting his own battles and grew to be a legend in his own right.
