Heather is a DC Character introduced in "The New 52" reboot Superman as a news reporter for the Daily Planet.

Storyarc

Superman made the connection to both the fire creature and the invisible beast that appeared in the first and second issue. Both had a focal point, something they were tethered to. Heading into the center of the ice storm he noticed the alien form of a female ice creature. True to his theory, he heard the creature mutter the word "Krypton", but even more horrifying was the fact that the creature was tethered to his friend Heather Kelley.
