Intervention would be met up against Bane hired by Rupert Thorne who set to overtake Batman and guard the illegal shipments from being revealed by Batman or GCPD as a fight would break-out in a shipment yard later resulting Hotwire to use her electric shock impulse uniform in means to knock out the steroid-using super-criminal and get arrested for jail despite hindering Batman's efforts to properly trace and implicate Rupert Thorne for his criminal theft operations.

Batman scolded Hotwire for being an immature rookie and a liability in his eyes for her reckless inexperience, but did give Hotwire an opportunity to uphold her merits as a crime-fighter and referred Yvette Brawner in her civilian identity to the home of the Martian Manhunter to become formally trained due to her dedicated morals.
