His real name is Martin Allard.The boy who witnessed his mothers brutal murder would eventually grow up to become an Airforce Captain with his hand on the button to kill Major Force. Allard was the right hand of General Eiling ( who had effectively taken charge of Project Atom ) until his kidnapping by the Ghost. Allard was beaten, tortured, brainwashed and subjected to a variant Quantum experiment to create a being that could tip the balance in the future conflict between the Ghost and Captain Atom. He was rendered inert when his connection to the quantum field was cut off.
