Creation

Jagged was created by both Christopher Michael Taylor and Tom McCraw and the first and only appearance was in the Dc Comics series Legion of Super-Heroes #57-Volume 4- Friends and Foes.

History

Five-Year Gap

The young man calling himself Jagged was a student during the 31st century at the Legion Academy where Here he was learning how to hone his skills with his energy powers alongside various fellow superpowered cadets.

After the so-called Five-Year Gap, the Legion Academy was renamed the United Planets Military Academy. Many old students remained and many new students joined, such as Tiger Girl, Ringtoss, Rush, Dragonfly, R3Z7 and Xera.

He accidentally injured his fellow Academy student Ringtoss, while in battle with the Khunds.

Powers and Abilities

Jagged is an alien with the ability to project jagged streams of energy from his hands.

Equipment

As cadet of the Legion Academy/United Planets Military Academy, Dragonfly is allowed the use of a Legion Flight Ring. The ring gives its wearer the ability to fly, the speed and range of which is determined by the wearer's willpower. It also acts as a long-range communicator (enabling constant vocal contact with other Legionnaires, even across vast distances of space), a signal device, and a navigational compass, all powered by a micro-computer built inside the ring.
