Jebediah was a Christian evangelist who beat his son Jim Corrigan. He gave Jim a strong sense of a fire and brimstone ideology and a passion of right and wrong, even beating him when he committed the smallest infraction. Eventually Jebediah would go to hell and Spectre saw him being tortured on a swastika. Jebediah blamed his son for his place in hell but the Spectre (his son) didn't care.
