Johnny Navarone was hired by Moe Dubelz in order to kill Tommy Monaghan for killing his father and brother. Navarone was familiar with the effects of the Bloodlines Parasites and was therefore aware of the extent of Tommy's powers. He unfortunately ended up killing Pat Noonan in order to get at Tommy, subsequently earning him his vengeful wrath. Tommy eventually managed to kill Navarone, despite his attempts to appeal to Tommy's sense of brotherhood amongst hitmen.
