Kaleb is the name of a man who is the last survivor of a doom civilization that under the light of a yellow sun was capable of gain powers similar to those of superman. Following the "Krypton Protocol" Lex Luthor LX and his forces destroyed planet Hydros, but not before a grupo of rebels rescued Kaleb and help him becoming the new superman of the future.

Though he is not a Kryptonian, Kaleb demonstrates most of the same abilities once exposed to yellow sun radiation. He possesses great strength, durability, flight, speed, and is able to fire beams of heat from his eyes. Unlike Kryptonians, Kaleb can also fire concussive blasts from his hands and has learned how to open up warps in space-time for instantaneous interstellar travel. Those warp-holes can also be used to observe others from afar without their knowledge.
