The super-powered, cape-wearing pet dog of Hyperboy of the Hyper-Family, who protects the distant planet Trombus. Klypso, like the other members of the Hyper-Family, only possesses superhuman powers under an orange sun and is powerless under a yellow sun.
However Klypso found a tragic end when he defended his master, Hyperman, against the earth Green lantern Hal Jordan. When he was attacking the hero, a group of infants Ornithoids came in defense of Jordan and killed him with their own super-vision powers.
