Origin

The man called Lazon hails from the once distant planet of Dryad before its horrible destruction. He gained powers like his fellow friends from the entity known as the Dark Man. With his new abilities to fly at speeds of light and wield lasers from his hands. He used these to take revenge on the Legion of Super-Heroes whom he had thought destroyed his homeworld.

Creation

Lazon was created by Gerry Conway and Joe Staton. He first made an appearance in the series Superboy and the Legion of Super-Heroes, #253 Night of the Super Assassins!

History

Original Continuity: New Earth

Lazon (real name Cey-Nu) is from the planet Dryad and has the ability to transform himself into a form of living light, in which he gains the velocity and effects of any form of light that he chooses.

After the failure of the League of Super-Assassins, Lazon went on to join the Legion of Super-Villains.

Lazon is not very bright and is always in a hurry, often racing his teammates to complete a mission.

Powers and Abilities

"Hit by the speed of light"

Lazon has abilities which deal with light and energy waves themselves even ae to turn into a near light form himself. He can choose from a wide array of forms of energies and has previously even taken the attributes of Kryptonite in the past. He can achieve the speed of light while in flight. He also can wield laser beams of great heat from his hands.
