The thief known as Mazdan in a distant time was sentenced to the 50th Century, where the Earth is a desolate planet. However, due to some freakish accident the capsule containing Mazdan did not go forward, but backwards in time, so he ended up in the past or, from Barry Allen's prespective, the present.
Armed with a magnetic rod which he uses to steal items, Mazdan attempts to plunder. However, he had not reckoned with the power of the Fastest Man Alive (aka The Flash), who easily defeats him and with his super speed, transports him back to the future...
He was never seen again.
