Monica paid for the services of a prostitute, Toby, for a while. She grew attached to him and felt that the feeling was mutual, even though he was 30 years younger than her. After losing touch with him, she enlisted Lee's services, hoping that she could bring him back to her. However, she lied to Lee that he was her son.

When Lee brought him back in the Furors Pub, Monica tried to convince Toby to come back with her. Although he was grateful for what she had taught him, he now works for Bumper and has no intention of leaving. Angry, Monica pulled out a gun to kill him, but Dolf, the bartender, shot her in the chest before she could act. She died instantly.
