N.D. Redik arranged the bombing of Peter Farley's office and Cecile Horton's home hoping the Flash would agree to accept his own services as a criminal defense attorney for his upcoming murder trial. When the scarlet speedster discovered Redik was the one behind the attacks, he tracked him down to his office. Redik committed suicide rather than be arrested for his crimes.
