One of the New Gods of Apokolips and a member of Darkseid's Elite, Necromina is an elderly woman with the ability to fly, teleport, siphon the lifeforce of others, and raise and control the dead.

First issue:
Necromina was a mortician on Apokolips who was obsessed with death. Asking for control of a cavern where the deceased Old Gods resided, Darkseid granted her this favour, but in turn required her to become one of his Elite.
Bringing her to his science priests, Darkseid had the Mortis Mark grafted to her hand, granting Necromina the power to raise and control the dead, as well as the ability to siphon the life from living beings.
As a member of his Elite, she has come into conflict with Orion in the past, notably felling him in one blow. Due to her actions as well as her expressions of fealty and respect, Darkseid chose to reward her with the cavern she desired, where she later witnessed the rebirth of an Old God.
