Origin

Omega-Bam-Man came from a planet called Galaxia. On that planet, the men have a toxic gene that makes them incredibly dangerous if activated, so they were all relegated to them to non-physical activities. However, when he watched the Royal Krypton Crumble, his first Wrestling Across the Multiverse show, he instantly fell in love with it. Inspired, he would train in secret. His training was revealed when he defended his village from a dangerous beast, and he was exiled for breaking the law. He sought out WAM where he convinced his favorite wrestler, Bromega, to train him. The two eventually became tag team partners until Bromega died in the ring.

Major Story Arcs

Meeting Wally West

Wrestling Across the Multiverse (or WAM) is the biggest sports league in the entire universe, however, Earth doesn't really know about them. When their algorithm chooses Earth as their newest fight arena, they make a brutal mess in Keystone City. It was up to Wally West to try to keep the peace, but he ended up being dubbed the tag team partner of defending champ, Omega-Bam-Man. OBM liked Wally immediately, and the two had great fun taking on duo after duo of alien heavy hitters.

After they prove victorious, WAM sends their robot techs to fix all the damage they had done.

Palace of Eternity

During a routine wrestling match, Omega was hit by the Nova Punch from Kriegmeister 10. This caused him to be sent clear out of time and space where he coincidentally hit the T-Ship his new buddy, Wally West, was riding. Along with a number of other metahumans, Wally was on his way to the Palace of Eternity to save his newborn son, Wade, from Granny Goodness. Always happy for a fight, Omega delightfully volunteered to help.

Upon arriving at the Palace of Eternity, they found giant monsters fighting each other just outside. Omega would stay with part of the team outside to keep the monsters busy so that Wally and others could save Wade. Unfortunately, their time travel device, the worlogog, was damaged causing the group to be briefly lost in time during their escape.

Bam was fighting a new match on the planet Funaheim 12, when a boom tube opened up and Green Lantern Kyle Rayner crash landed nearby. Kyle had been fighting an army of parademons on Earth when he got teleported. After he won his bout, Bam brought Kyle back to the WAM Hub since Funaheim 12 was about to become victim to a nuclear meltdown. This unfortunately stranded Kyle at the Hub which moved through time and space looking for new arenas. Bam had an affinity for "terrans" ever since befriending Wally West, so he decided to help Kyle break into the engine room and help him figure a way back to his rightful time and place.

They meet Darrell, the AI controlling the direction of the Hub, who says he has been specifically instructed not to go to Earth until after Darkseid destroys it, causing a ripple effect across the universe. Darrell was instructed by Bromega, who revealed he had faked his death and has been manipulating WAM ever since. Bromega admitted the Hub was originally designed to go to ailing worlds and fix them, not destroy them, and he thought Bam would be into a final show to end all shows during the destruction of the universe. However, Bam sided with Kyle. Bam volunteered to keep Bromega and two of his cronies busy while Kryle destroys Darrell, so that they could send the Hub to Earth.

Once they arrived at the planet, Earth was automatically chosen as a new arena. WAM started a broadcast of Bam and Kyle taking on Bromega and his backup. This broadcast worked as a distress call through the galaxy bringing Rannians, Tamarans, the Green Lantern Corps, and The Omega Men to help protect the planet. Unfortunately, when Kyle's identity as a Green Lantern was revealed, Bam was forced to forfeit as GLs are not allowed to compete. Bromega teleported away with Bam's championship belt, leaving him stranded on Earth.
