Otto Orion was the best hunter from the 30th century who grew tired of hunting only space animals. Then he wanted to hunt the Legion of Super-Heroes members for his own amusement, by trapping the Legionnaries and forcing them to participate in a human hunt. The Hunter defeated all the Legionnaires but Invisible Kid. When Invisible Kid reach the safe zone, a bomb inside the Hunter belt activated killing him. The bomb had been put there by the Hunter himself, as he wanted the thrill of the hunt back to his life, the hunt had to be a dead or alive element. As the Legionnaires had a vow to no take any life, the Hunter himself added the killing element to the competition.
