Persuader, like the other members of the Fatal Five, was recruited to help fight the Sun-Eater. He wielded an axe that could cut through almost all matter, make dimesional rifts, cut a person's air supply off, or even cut off gravity, according to Persuader's mental commands. He even used his axe to cut through several rifts, and joined five-hundred different Fatal Fives to create the Fatal Five-Hundred.
He is often an enemy against the Legion of Super Heroes.

He appeared in Season 8 Episode 11 of the CW Series "Legion" played by Fraser Aitcheson. In this version he is part of the future human supremacist movement. He steals a Legion Flight Ring and uses it to go to the past in an attempt kill Clark Kent before he can become Superman. In this version his axe can split atoms.

Justice League Unlimited
He appeared in Season 3 Episode 10 of the animated series "Far From Home". He first appears with Emerald Empress to capture the remaining Legion of Superhero members and battles with Brainiac 5 and Supergirl, he then leaves with the empress after Green Lantern is captured. He is seen on the Fatal Five cruise ship and fights Green Arrow and Brainiac 5 with the Fatal Five but is defeated by Bouncing Boy and the other legionnaires after they are freed from the empress' mind control.
Superman and the Legion of Super-Heroes
Season 1
He appears in the first episode of Superman and the Legion of Superheroes animated series along with the fatal five frequently.
He appeared in the first episode and ran away with the Fatal Five. They were later captured in the third episode. They help the legion fight the sun eater and almost betray them but he is arrested with the Fatal Five.
Season 2
He is part of the villains who were freed from prison by Imperiex and were recaptured in Season 2 episode 2.
