The second hero known as Phantasm was an entity born from the combined essenses of Danny Chase, Arella and the souls of Azarath.

After Danny Chase impersonated the first Phantasm, he and Ariella fought against the corrupted souls of Azarath inside Jericho, who were trying to possess the other Titans. However the plan backfire and instead all the dark power was absorbed by Raven, corrupting her and awakening her demonic force. To prevent any major damage, Arella and Danny sacrified themselves to stop Raven.

However, when Donna Troy ascended to godhood after give birth to her son, her rebirth called the combined essences of Danny, Arella and the purified souls of Azarath, in the form of a new Phantasm, an entity of great spiritual power but lacking an identity.This Phantasm had the power of both Arella and Danny Chase as well as the souls of Azarath, making them one of the most powerful beings.

Phantasm helped the Titans in some adventures but mostly he was involved in the defeat of the Dark Raven, who had amnifested the demonic traits of her father, Trigon. To supress the Trigon influence, Phantasm freed all the souls of Azarath than componed his identity and they atacked Raven, banishing her from the material world. With this final action, Phantasm and the souls of Azarath found rest.
