Pietr Brenovich is a Russian Spy who recruits Kilowog to come to Russia, speak with Mikhail Gorbachev and work on the Red Rocket Program.
Creation
Pietr was created by Joe Staton and Jack C. Harris for their run on The Green Lantern Corps. Pietr appeared in 3 issues, first in issue 206, but he wasn't named until issue 207.
Major Story Arc
In Deep
Pietr is at the Los Angeles Angels vs Oakland A's baseball game when it is attacked by Black Hand. Pietr and the rest of the people in attendance were saved by Kilowog. This gave the yet unnamed man an idea.
Simple Minds
At the Green Lantern Citadel Peitr approaches Kilowog, claiming to be a friend from Soviet Russia with the same views as Kilowog.
Red Lantern
Pietr and Kilowog have a philosophical discussion about how America and Russia differ in their views, policies and how they treat their people. Kilowog agrees to meet with Russian officals and see where he could help them. Pietr then introduces Kilowog to Mikhail Gorbachev.
