Pohrager was sympathetic to Taren's Rebellion. He even helped Taren and Atom to escape the city of Morlaidn. His help did not go unnoticed as he was tied to a post in the city square for his role in the rescue. Pohrager didn't know but Deraegis had him punished this way in the name of King Caellich. Poherger became a pawn in a political attempt to overthrow the government.
