Private Shawn Duffy and his troop would meet Bigby Wolf through Sergeant Harp(who knew Bigby's secret) to go on a special mission. The Nazis had been doing some big project but they didn't know what. With Bigby's help they were able to sneak through their defenses and went in charging. Some of the troops, waited behind for Bigby and Harp after being injured. After Harp is killed, on a vow of secracy Bigby shifts to his wolf form and helps escor the suriving soldiers to safety.
Duffy after years of suffering from cancer, began to write a journal on his mission with Bigby and Harp. He died in 2003.
