Creation
Queen Diana was created by Lilah Sturges and Steve Rolston. She made her first appearance in House of Mystery #4.
Major Story Arcs
House of Mystery
Following the departure of her daughter, the Summerlands are overrun and Queen Diana is forced to flee. When her daughter returns to the Summerlands, Diana gathers the remaining witches to lead a final assault on the Thinking Man. She travels to the House of Mystery, where she persuades Fig Keele to accompany them, believing her powers to be useful. She is forced to sacrifice herself by allowing Daphne to set her alight, thus relighting the Ignis Aeterna and giving the witches enough power to defeat the Thinking Man's Army.
