Ralph Wolf
This Looney Tunes wolf has a job in which he has to try to catch sheep; it's Sam Sheepdog's job to try and stop him. Although he almost looks alike to Wile E. Coyote, they are not the same character!

Ralph Wolf is not an "alter ego" of Wile E. Coyote, although they both look almost identical and use Acme products to try to catch their prey; there are some important differences. The first difference is that even though wolves and coyotes look very much alike in the Looney Tunes universe, Wile has a black nose while Ralph has a red one. Second, Wile almost always tries to catch the Roadrunner, while Ralph has a job to try to catch sheep. Third, Ralph has a working man's sort of voice, while depending on which incarnation, Wile has no voice, but uses signs to communicate, or he has a very educated and almost snobbish tone.
