Little Raven learned of his native American past from his father Man-Of-Bats. Raven has modeled himself of all the robins of past including Dick Grayson, Jason Todd and Tim Drake. Not only are his physical training and unarmed combat up to par with robin but he has knowledge of medicine.

Raven Red is the son and sidekick of Man-of-Bats. Raven Red's opinion on how to fight crime eventually began to differ from his father's. While he appreciated his father's need to help the people of the community, he longed to do some big-league crime fighting against real super villains. As if his wish were granted, he and his father were almost immediately targeted by the Leviathan. Batman arrived to help, since they were only being targeted due to their association with him. Together, Batman, Man-of-Bats, and Raven Red were able to foil Leviathan's attempt on their lives. Man-of-Bats and Raven Red both suffered injuries, but Raven developed a new respect for his father.
Major Story Arcs
Raven Red continued to help his father, and become a member of Batman Inc., although he expressed his wishes to join the Teen Titans, thinking he was made to be more than just a sidekick. He also became best friends with his teammate, Mr. Unknown since they're the only ones on the team who like to have fun opposed to the more serious members mirroring Batman's personality.
After his father's retirement, he took a key role on the team, during The Ghost-Maker's time leading the team. Man-Of-Bat's was shot by a member of Joker Inc. named Dusty Bronco. Red Raven became angry and bitter, opposed to his usual kind personality, and was determined to kill Dusty, the two would have a final showdown where Red Raven couldn't bring himself to kill him, knowing it wasn't what his father wanted.
