Ricardo was a beach bum and massage therapist resident of Danny the Street/World/Land originating from the Doom Patrol's time on Oolong Island. He helped to found again the lost Danny and helped the Doom Patrol in their most recent adventures.
He died when Danny the ambulance crashed on Retconn offices. However his essence drifted among the stars and he was reborn on Destiny Beach, the original home of Flex Mentallo, with new healing powers and calling himself the Cabana-Man. There he helped one of the previous friends of Flex, Babyface Bernardo, to heal a muscular cram than was was aborbing him to the infinite.
