Origin

Rina was twelve when she discovered the ring, possessed by a different Green Lantern, who said "I'm so sorry", prior to her death. Rina then took the ring and was consumed by its fiery energy that consumed the body of the dead lantern (and it is implied that it spread and killed her parents). She was on the run for much of the time after, learning only the basics of the use of her ring, such as energy blasts.

She would later learn more about her powers and abilities under Batwraith.

Powers & Abilities

Rina's powers are similar to both Hal Jordan and Alan Scott, though it's not specified which type of ring she has, the regular reference to "fire" seems to hint at a power more akin to the latter lantern. Though she is often depicted carrying a lantern at the end of a staff, more than a ring (as only a glow on her hand is shown to indicate a ring). She has been shown the ability to fly, project energy blasts, project light, generate energy shields, reveal hidden entities/enemies, silence at least one foe, and even share her light/fire with others (though they seem only capable of using the light in the same fashion as regular fire).
