Once a stage magician, he has an unique skin condition called Dermatographism which creates post-hypnotic suggestions across his skin. Now a villain of the Nightrunner, Skin Talker was inspired by The Id to incite greater acts of violent atrocities from his victims.

Current Events
Skin Talker was one of four inmates at Le Jardin Noir to be broken out by The Son of Man to cause surrealist chaos at The Louvre. It was Skin Talker who used his post-hypnotic condition to inspire hordes of ordinary citizens to go berserk and overcome Batman, Robin and Nightrunner. He was taken down by Batman and presumably sedated and hauled back into custody.
Origin
His origin reveals he used to be a stage magician, who used his unique condition to predict the future and turn a profit in the process. It gradually turns out that his messages are more homicidal in content, inspiring people to great acts of atrocity. It is assumed that at this point he was fired and at some point became a professional criminal.
