She was created by Dennis O'Neil in 1989She kidnapped a bus with hostages and temporarily joined the Riddler. When a hostage failed to solve Riddler's riddle, she shot him to death. After she was defeated by the Question, Sphinx ran away over the old wood bridge. She fell down to the ice water and died.
