Wanted Interpol criminal Sophia Santos joined the Death's Head terrorist group under the male alias Thanatos. As Thanatos, she and her gang came to Gotham City to break into S.T.A.R. Labs to gain equipment for their cause. Thanatos was thwarted by Batman and the Gotham City Police Department. Thanatos, using the alias of Italian reporter Lina Muller, gained information from the Gotham City P.D. She also tried to seduce Bruce Wayne in order to get funding. Batman discovered her ruse, and used that information to take down Thanatos and her Death's Head gang. Thanatos has not been seen since.
