When Two-Face attempts to take refuge in a circus, he comes into contact with The Man With Two Faces. The Man tells Dent to stop his needless violence as his actions paint a negative picture of others who are "different". When Two-Face attempts to kill the man for being "a freak", the man responds by telling Two-Face that at least he isn't a monster. Batman then arrives, saving the man's life.
