Origin

Theodore Horton Jr. is the son of Abigail Horton and Theodore Horton Sr, his sister is Cynthia Horton. Being Abigail and Theodore only son, he believed he was heir to the Horton Chemical fortune when his widowed mother passed away. When Oliver Queen was made the CEO of Horton Chemical instead of him, he attempted to kill the man, but not knowing Olive is the Green Arrow, his attempt failed. He was later killed by Count Vertigo because he knew too much.

Creation

Theodore Jr. was created by Mike W. Barr, Trevor Von Eeden, and Dick Giordano for their mini series Green Arrow.

Major Story Arcs

Green Arrow

When Abigail died suddenly it was stuck up as natural causes, but when the rich heiress gave all her family money to Oliver Queen, a man she hadn't seen in over a year, her family, including Jr were not happy. Jr was only given $2 million dollars of the family fortune, a small piece of a vast empire.

Jr then plotted to kill Oliver Queen, even going as far as working with supervillain Count Vertigo. Then Oliver lied to Jr. telling him he knew who killed Abigail and this pushed Jr to attempt to shoot Oliver. But then Green Arrow showed up and chased Jr. off.

Jr. tried to runaway but found himself trapped and was about to tell Green Arrow everything when Count Vertigo, used his power to force Jr to walk off a cliff. With Jr's last breath his left Green Arrow a clue, a hexagon drawn in the sand.

Later, the Horton family has a funeral for Jr. not aware of the events behind his death.
