First issue:
Theodoric was one of four Lanterns picked to accompany Guy Gardner on a search and destroy mission for the monster Gigorr, who was killing Lanterns sector by sector as it head for Oa. Gardner picked Theodoric after hearing about the Lantern's reputation as having "problems with authority". Although the Lanterns destroyed Gigorr, only Gardner and Theodoric survived. Theodoric´s policy on rule-breaking is "only the stupid ones"
