Among the treasure was a strange urn. Contact with it affected Arthur, causing him to loose some strength and having trouble breathing underwater. His telepathic powers were almost gone and with them his control of animals. When the urn was stolen by pirates, Curry had to retrieve it in order to get his power backs. He later destroyed the urn but promised to help Toby get the rest of the lost treasure.
