Tom McFadden was created by writer Peter Milligan and artist Edvin Biukovic.
Major Story Arcs
Tom McFadden was Christopher Chance's assistant. When Chance lost his face to an assassin, McFadden assumed his identity to draw the assassin out and protect an LA reverend while Chance lay in hospital. Tom would soon fall too deep into the role and forget his identity until the real Christopher Chance reminds him who he is.
He returns to his wife and son, but soon gets bored of the mundane life and continues playing Human Target, growing a fixation with the identity of Christopher and becoming him once more.
