Origin
The original Ubermensch (which means Overman or Superman) was a member of the World War II team Axis Amerika, and battled the Young All-Stars and the All-Star Squadron. It is not known what became of him after the war. At this time, Ubermensch was the epitome of Adolf Hitler's ideal of racial purity. He had been selected to go through painful scientific treatments which transformed him into the ultimate Aryan super hero.

Ubermensch was created by Roy Thomas, Dann Thomas, Vince Argondezzi, Michael Bair and Brian Murray.
Character Evolution
The original Ubermensch and Sea Wolf joined Alexander Luthor's Secret Society of Super Villains.
