Vincent is a member of Gotham's major crimes unit, as well as being related to the Inzerillos a major Gotham crime family something he keeps from others in his department.During the course of his investigation of Washburn Pharmaceuticals, The Huntress appears in his home letting him know of the Inzerillos involvement in the company, which he quickly verifies for himself.
 
Despite only having agreed to investigate the employee list for Tommy Burke, Vincent and his partner become deeper involved arriving to speak with the C.F.O. His partner Joely Bartlett eventually cracks the case finding traces of Tets in a candy jar, arresting Doctor Gavin for murder.
