Origin

Yasemin started off as a Turkish smuggler, coming from a crime ridden family of mobsters and assassins, where she would compete with her family to become the best of them, being deemed the best shooter of her family.

Major Story Arcs

Birds of Prey

Yasemin was a mob boss who was a one-time antagonist of the Birds of Prey. Yasemin attacked Huntress after she found the heroine's interruption in the criminal underworld too much. She managed to hold her own against Helena for long enough that Black Canary had time to intervene moments before Huntress was about to kill her.

Suicide Squad

After leaving, she joined the Suicide Squad as their new shooter and according to Amanda Waller, the new "Deadshot". After failing a mission, she was looked down upon by the Squad. Later, she joined the fight against the Secret Six where she would confront her predecessor, Deadshot. which she'd find, was a mistake. Deadshot shoots her, instantly killing her.

Blackest Night

Yasemin was resurrected as a Black Lantern with the rest of the dead members of the Squad who was either killed on missions or by their teammates. The undead Suicide Squad fought the Secret Six and the Squad. The connection to her ring was severed when Amanda Waller detonated her Manhunter robot in front of the Black Lanterns.

While Yasemin never appears in person, her name can be seen on "The List" of names that Robert Queen deems corrupt. Green Arrow uses the list as a hit list of criminals in the beginning. Yasemin is one of the many names abandoned after Oliver decides to stop killing. Yasemin wouldn't be the only comic character referenced on the list, Everyman, Electrocutioner, and a few other minor characters from the comics are there.

Although it was later mentioned that she was a victim of Deadshot's just like the comics.
